Hero of the Week - Lisa Harrell
I think Lisa qualifies as a hero. Unfortunately, the mother is close to a creep nomination.

This post is more of a question to all (3) of my readers. What is your attachment to social-networking sites? I get the fact that you can easily keep in contact with current and old friends. But are you really meeting new people on them? Does having a 150 friends on MySpace really mean you have 150 friends? Are the applications on facebook cool, or colossal time-wasters? Keeping up with the going-ons of people via twitter is kind of an awesome idea, but do you even care? What about linkedin? Do you actually use it to keep up with your professional contacts?
I've been on a social-networking binge as of late, and quite frankly, I just don't get the appeal.
I'd love to hear your comments and feedback.
This is just completely ridiculous. The only thing good enough for this creep is a lifetime in jail enduring "prison justice".
I need to note this week's runner-up as well. The six cheerleaders aged 14-17 who viciously beat another 16 year-old girl. And you thought the lily-white kids in the suburbs were above such things.
